It was a pleasure to see so many of you at Curriculum Night. I enjoyed meeting you and seeing familiar faces. I look forward to working together. If you weren’t able to make it I sent the information home with your child. If you have questions, please reach out. The majority of families requested that I send a reading log to guide focus on reading. A few action items if you haven't done so already: 1. Please sign up to view your child’s digital learning portfolio with Seesaw. 2. Send headphones for your child. Below is a link that several families have used for headphones: http://ithinkwrite.com/thinkwrite-ultra-light-headphones/ Hope you enjoy your time as a family, reading, playing and relaxing! We have been learning about Non-Fiction Text Features and how they help us understand reading. Watch this video to learn more. Then, look for those features when you read. |
